Getting started with therapy
Your therapist will establish a relationship with you and make sure you get the help you need.
What happens when therapy starts
The first sessions will focus on building a relationship with your therapist and deciding if they're the right fit for you.
For some people, a few sessions are all that’s needed. If you find you need ongoing help, your therapist will work with you to assess the level and type of support you need.
You and your therapist will work together to find the best options for support for you and your family and whānau.
Your therapist will also talk to you about the role we play.
