Find the right therapist to talk to

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. The search tool helps you to search for a therapist based on their:

  • location
  • gender
  • spoken language
  • area of expertise.

Your therapist may be a counsellor, psychotherapist, psychologist, social worker, psychiatrist or an art therapist. Some of them work as individuals and others work in groups or as an agency. We fully funds these services, so there's no cost for you.

When you find the right support you need, contact therapist or organisation to make an appointment. 

You don't have to wait for your us to process your claim, you can start with your therapist straight away. 

I want a new therapist

If you decide at any stage that you want to find a new therapist, you can choose one that's better suited to you.

Making the first phone call

We understand that you may be feeling nervous about making that first phone call or sending the first email. Some helpful suggestions of what to say:
